I want to glaze my painted kitchen cabinet doors and I was wondering if the glaze is also applied to the frame work of the cabinets? In other words do you apply the glaze to everything? I've seen the doors done and how they leave the glaze heavier in the corners around the trim work/mouldings, but I've never seen if they apply the glaze to the rest of the cabinetry. Has anyone done this?

I want to paint my kitchen cabinets a dark cherry oak with a faux wood grain. I have heard that I need to buy 3 colors - 1) a darker color for the base, 2) a middle color for the wood grain, and 3) a light color for the finish. Do I paint the cabinet the base color, then use the wood graining tool to paint the middle color, and then finally finish it with the lightest color.
I have seen this finish in stores a light coverage antique white with the wood grain showing through in a bit darker color (not white wash which grain is lighter ) they are not high gloss and not enitrely covered antique white

Somehow an unwelcomed visitor got into our small apartment-a baby possum! It is hiding behind the kitchen cabinets and the stove. I don't want to buy an animal trap that will never be used again. I am going to try & lure him outside with a trail of some kind of food. I just wanted to get some more ideas before I tried anything else. Thanks for any & all ideas.
