We're thinking about buying the oak stained cabinets from Lowe's. I've just one question though, that is, I'd like to have a cabinet with 2 large pull out pot and pan drawers. This is a cabinet that would probably be custom made from Lowe's but we can't afford to have one built. We need to use stock cabinets. Is there a way and hardware that we could use on one of the base cabinets from Lowe's and design this feature ourselves? Thanks and I hope somebody has already did this for their kitchen.

How do I make my tan colored kitchen drawers and cabinets appear a darker wood color? Do I paint these or use a glaze spray or something? As you can see I'am clueless...
In this part of my Kitchen Rejuvenation series, I show how I cleaned and lined some tricky corner cabinets with kidney-shaped lazy susan shelves. The next part will showcase my pantry, and then the final part will be an in-depth kitchen tour. Thanks for watching! I was reading on another site about using trim to frame kitchen cabinet doors... Has anyone done this or know of a site where I could see pictures etc.?
Also wondering about paint schemes.. I'm using country white semi gloss latex for the insides of drawers and cabinets.. should I paint the actual cabinet one color and doors another?? What colors would look good? Hubby likes a "wood" look but I think that would require completly stripping and staining.. (Trying to keep cost somewhat low which is why we don't want to replace)
How do I fill old screw holes to make new ones for updated hardware?
These cabinets are as old as the house and the house has plaster walls etc if that gives you an age.. Any and all tips would be very much appreciated! Thanks.
I'm not sure what style of cabinet doors I have.. Where the two doors meet, one has a "tounge" that sits behind the second door.. So only one door will open without you having to open the other... If that makes any sense. Do you have any pointers for improving the look of this particular style of door??
Years ago when I was a little kid my mother renovated out kitchen, terribly. She tried to stain the flat kitchen cabinets, but she had too much of a red stain. It looks terrible, but she had 3 kids running around and couldn't fix it. I need to know if there is any sort of tool that I can use to detail the cabinets, make them look more like this:

The bottom cabinets, with the straight cuts. The curved cuts on the top cabinets are too hard. My dad will be doing the cutting and he doesn't exactly know what he's doing. Also, should I sand them before or after they're cut? I'm sanding them to re-stain them. Thanks!

ok so heres how my kitchen looks so far, i just bought my first home and the cabinets are horrible and not well take care of, she has wall paper over the kitchen which is beige very neutral color but the wallpaper has decorative interesting pattern on it which makes the wall paper a winner to me, anyways the kitchen and dining room have this wallpaper and also a beige crown molding, im thinking thinking of painting the cabinets white i think it will really pop the wallpaper and crown but at the same time i was thinking of chocolate brown paint... im not sure, so any advice on colors would be very helpful, also my appliance and countertops are white, so i dont know if its going to be to much white, but the wall paper and crown could also contrast it... i dont know.. help please!!
