I have to take every thing out to get to something on the bottom .
The ceiling is not high enough to hang a pot rack . No wall space either . I've been downsizing & kept only what I really use . My kids & grand kids got the rest .I've taken every thing out & redid things differant getting rid of things I really still needed . My kitchen has 3 doors It's 10' x 15" . Top & bottom cabinets on 3 walls . Hutch & a stand alone open shelf unit behind my square med size table . We store very seldom used things in the bottom of the shelf unit .Like holladay things .
I'd like to have some thing pull out so I can get to things in back . I don't want to put things in my stove , don't want to take things out every time I want to bake some thing . My floor to ceiling pantry is so deep I can't get to things in the back . At our age we are on a fixed income , so can't spend much . My husband isn't handy around around the house .I was when I was younger , but not now. Where do I go from hear ?
So many good ideas . Our small K table is against the open shelf unit , so I put holliday things in it then I only move the table when that time of year rolls around .
Being only in our 60's we won't be going to a rest home for many years .
Having a very small older home built in 1894 , no closets what so ever , No atic & a wet basement . we store things in plastic lided containers under beds , behind things , 5 cloth lined baskets sofar.
I've used every inch of cabinet space .. We have a large heavy dresser in the living room , with out the merror instead of a tv stand . Tv on one end & lamp or Christmas tree on the other end . Has 12 drowers for storage . Computer stand has lots of storage . I hate Cludder so every few weeks or so I decludder .Some people rent storage units , I don't want to so I got rid of all but the things we use
.I might hang a half round pot rack from the top frame of the k window , then a cabnet door won't hit it .
Any help finding one of them

I have a condo that was built in 1994. I think the builder used the cheapest cabinets available. I don't want to spend the money to get new cabinets (I'm putting in new carpet and painting the entire place), so I want to paint them. I'm not sure what type of wood these cabinets are though? Maybe Corian? Do I just need to prime them, and then paint them?

I bought unfinished kitchen cabinets and i am primering, painting, and glazing them. they are to be white with a dark colored glaze. how do i use the glaze to achieve the "border" around the inside of the doors? I was told to treat it like stain...just rub it on and wipe it off, but I am not sure what I'm really doing and the directions on the bottle are pretty much non-existent. just says to follow the directions in the lowes faux how-to guide, and i don't have that. thanks for any detailed help you can give!
I have some glaze from lowes. it's in a jug, so it's not going to be sprayed. it's a colored glaze that is supposed to settle into the "crevices" in the edge of the doors...the lady told me to treat it just like stain, but i have practiced with it and it leaves color on the paint also, do i need to wash off the excess?....
