keep them slightly open you can do this by placing a can or bottle in between the door and the shelves
my mom bought some felt pieces with sticky backs that you put onto the corners of the doors (the corner that opens out) in line with the shelf. These little pieces keep the cupboard door separated from the shelves so they won’t stick!
Hope that helps!
Buy some little adhesive backed felt pads at a hardware store, and stick them on the non-hinge corners of the doors. This also makes the doors quite when you close them.
Remove them before painting. It takes a little longer but is much easier and produces a much better job. Also clean them well, if you paint over grease, they will always be sticky.
