Appropriate material for kitchen cabinet doors?

   Cabinet grade plywood: oak, birch, maple, pine, etc. Unless your a master crafts person with a full cabnet shop using solid woods is out of the question.

   The cheapest would probably be plywood, but you can also use any type of wood depending on your budget. Here is a list of the types of solid woods and a description of each:
