Estimate on cost for stripping and repainting kitchen cabinets please.?
We have a small kitchen:
6 upper cabinet doors, 5 lower, and 4 drawer faces. This isn't some million dollar home, we just want to make them look good again. They are scratched and dinged and dirty. The are wood veneer.
Can you give me a general idea of a price. I'm just wondering if we're looking at 0 and 2 days or 00 and a week. Please just give me a general idea. I just want them redone the same color.

I do a "refurbish" that is a cleaning and touch up. If they’re not too bad, this will normally make them look well cared for. For average condition, I charge $12.50 a lineal foot labor and all materials except hardware replacement (if requested), uppers and base counted separately. An average-sized kitchen would run $300-400 and it would take a day.
For stripping and finishing, which I’m not doing any more, I would normally charge $100 a door and a bit more for face frames and end panels when needed. This would normally take at least a week to ten days, with a visit every day to keep the project moving, during which time the kitchen would be largely out of order (frames and countertops would all be masked off). Even at that, I found them unprofitable because of all the travel time involved (I’d drive an hour for an hour or two’s work).
