I haven't heard of Howards Restore a Finish but I have Restorz-it.

I have actually used Restorz-it and while it did work. It wasn't as easy as the label said it would be and I am not too sure that furniture polish wouldn't have been just as good.

Since using it, I have kept the cabinets cleaned up with Pledge.

I can't believe you're asking this...I couldn't wait to RAVE about TSP. It is the easiest stuff in the world and takes the built up grease and grime off amazingly. No odor but I used rubber gloves. I used one of those non scratching but scrubbing sponges in the bathtub with the TSP. I haven't used the liquid, only the powder and it was great.

I then just used a spray Urethane on them to make it simple but easier to keep clean.

Hope this helps!!

Their is nothing a little formula 409 and elbow grease won't clean up and make look better. What kind of cabinets are they? built in's, dark stain, light stain, or naturak oak?
