How can I fix painter's tape damage on the sides of kitchen cabinets?
I had my walls painted. The painters used tape on the sides of the cabinet and the top layer of the cabinet pealed off. Can this be painted/stained? It is kind of like particleboard material. I'm not sure if painting it would look good. Thanks for any suggestions.

if your painters used tape then they are not tradesmen when i was in the painting game we never used tape
I agree, if you had a "painter" do the work, you should call them back to fix the problem. However, if they are not willing to do this you can try the following: look inside one of the drawers to see if there is a manufacturers name. If so find a local distributor for that brand of cabinet. Take a drawer or door (for color match) and have them order a cabinet skin. This can be applied with adhesive. If the surface you are looking at now looks like particle board you will not be able to stain it to make it look like the rest.
Ruined. Now way can that get fixed. The veneer is riped and you will never be able to ‘fix it’. Either pull the remaining veneer off and apply a whole new sheet to the side of the cabinet, or get new cabinets.
if you paid some one to paint then you need to contact them to come fix the problem thats what i would do and if you do want to do that you could stain the areas
