trying to make you own cabinet doors could be more trouble then its worth.i would recommend re facing you old cabinets and repairing or replacing the hinges .re facing is something that takes time but a cheap way to give your kitchen a new look.take the doors off and remove the hardware sand the doors and outside of the cabinets and paint the cabinets and replace the hardware

Im not exactly a hardware man, so i cant give you ideas.
But i hope those websites helped.
Either sellotape some weetabix together or search on google for replacement kitchen doors – there’s hundreds of companies!
Google’s always the answer.
In theory you can build a set of doors with nothing but a few hand tools but that requires a certain amount of experience and skill. After you get the door built, you need some additional skill to attach them to the cabinets.
I don’t want to discourage you from building your own doors but you do need to understand there can be real problems with trying to do this. Specially if you have little or no wood working experience and few tools.
The things that are done on some DIY shows appear a lot easier and successful than they are in real life. These shows are designed to be entertaining more than giving detailed information on how things are done.
I don’t know the exact type of doors you have and what the original quality was but I would suggest you consider trying to rehabilitate your existing doors. That might be the cheapest in the long run.
