looking for metal/grid inserts for kitchen cabinets. I have seen them in the doors of secretaries to purchase.
I have been told that I can use chicken wire, but I would like something more professional looking. I want to take the glass inserts out of an old secretary and replace that glass with the metal grids. That would give this piece of furniture a french provincial look. Thanks for the help!

Find a cabinet dealer that carries Plain And fancy cabinets. I know they have these.
expanded metal is what you want, hardware stores carry a small amount. Most cabinet shops will sell you some, if they have it.
