On kitchen cabinets, what type of finish should I use?
I use polyurathane and it gets greesy. Im just wondering if a finish could help reduce that!

Make sure that whatever you use on your cabinets, it is compatible with the poly. You’ll either have to use Acrylic base, or remember if you use an oil base now, you will always have to use oil, because acrylic will not cover oil based paint.
If your cabinets are wood with a wood finish then the poly should be good. Make sure that you clean them well first with solvent cleaner (to remove the old grease buildup).
By the way, the grease comes from cooking, not the cabinets. The hot vapors from frying (especially) carry grease particles with them that congeal on the cooler cabinets. Eliminate this by running a vent fan that vents outdoors when you do any kind of frying or cooking that could release grease to the air.
