This older home had a small fire in the kitchen and rather than rebuilding the kitchen the way it was the owner decided to expand the kitchen out into the back yard. Many challenges faced Meadowview Construction as there were many hidden conditions. Birch cabinets were used in the kitchen along with Vermont Soapstone counters. The owner even splurged on a Miehle steam oven and an Induction cook top which boils water far faster than gas. Care was taken to preserve many of the exterior details. The space also includes a 1/2 bath, laundry area, a nice mudroom and a back yard deck. One final surprise is the basement space that houses the owner's collection of model trains.

My doors are soft maple and the cabinetry is solid wood, but not the maple used for the doors.

Any idea of the cost? Would it be cheaper to just paint the cabinets and replace the doors?
