This is a house that I built out of Lego's. It is 100% Genuine Lego's. I have no clue exactly how many pieces that there are, but my best estimate is at least 10000, maybe more. The entire house is raised off the ground, and has a crawlspace underneath, except for the garage, and it also has model plumbing underneath that runs to the bathrooms, kitchen, and hose. The backyard isn't finished yet, so that is why it's not shown. There are many added details and techniques that I used throughout this house, including the double-thick walls to enable each room to be a separate color. Most of the house is tiled, except for the 3 bedrooms and garage. The floor that I used in this house is a large, hefty slab of boards pieced together that are layered 3 boards thick, and underneath the floor are many supports. The extra thick slab added a ton of sturdiness to the structure, enough to be able to carry the house by hand without it falling apart. The kitchen cabinets have a back splash, and there are actually sinks in all the cabinets. The dining room has a wet bar, as well as a wooden looking wall that really adds to the dining room and the adjacent office. Several pieces in this house I purchased online, including all the white doors and door frames (bricklink.com), the white cabinets, cabinet doors and cabinet drawers (bricklink.com), and the dark brown tiles used in the living room and entryway (eBay).
