I purchased my house two years ago. The house was built in 1950. The kitchen cabinets are original with the house. I'd like to update the kitchen, but would hate to replace the cabinets because a. they're solid wood b. there is nothing really wrong with them, with the exception of the lower base needing a good re-sanding and paint job. c. trying to save time and money. The drawers definitely need replacing and although the doors are in good condition, they're basically just a slab. Very outdated. I found places online. Not sure who is reputable. Some so cheap it's hard to believe. I've wondered if Lowe's or Home Depot offer this type of service. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for slab-style European-look high gloss kitchen cabinet doors (for frameless cabinets) in a lime green colour, made of thermofoil, MDF or high pressure laminate, ideally produced/available in Canada.

Home Depot's latest KraftMaid line only comes in a limited selection of colours.
Similarly with IKEA's AKURUM Abstrakt.

I've already emailed a number of manufacturers in the US. Most haven't responded. The rest don't ship to Canada.

What's left seems to be Italian (Aster Cucine) and German (Alno) Kitchen manufacturers, whose products I can only obtain locally through "Kitchen design houses" - going through so many levels of distribution that the costs for these cabinets/doors are incredibly high.

I'm not interested in a painted surface. I'm already experienced with the commercial coatings available. I don't need that headache, and I think it looks terrible.

As for resale value: if subsequent owners of my home don't care for the portion of my kitchen cabinetry with lime green doors - all they need to do is replace them.
That's the beauty of framess cabinetry.

This house was not really taken care of by the previous owners and the white paint has chipped off the majority of the doors and the wood has swollen underneath. The frames are fine, but the doors need to be replaced badly. I have looked on Lowe's and Home Depot's website and I simply cannot afford to replace the entire cabinet and they do not sell the doors alone. I have searched the internet and cannot find anything resembling what I have. Everything I have found is "real wood", which is more expensive of course. I just need the contractor grade, white, particle board kitchen cabinet replacement doors! HELP!

I am in the process of updating my kitchen by replacing the cabinets and countertops. I want granite counter tops and Thomasville cabinets. Has anyone used Home Depot for this project in Rochester Hills, Michigan?

I am going to Home Depot today to purchase stripper for my kitchen cabinets. Any recs on what to buy? Tips on how to use it? This will be my first time using it. I am assuming I need eye protection & a resperator, anything else?

I would like to find out what software Home Depot and Lowe's use to design kitchen cabinets

I used to buy mills pride cabinets at home depot but they dont carry them anymore. Where can I get a cheap white ready to assembly cabinet without doors. Specifically looking for 36"x12" or 36"W x15"H.
I have tried a google search. Seems mills pride just forwards to home depot who does not carry them anymore.
